Open / Short to Ground usually means that the car is not seeing whatever it's supposed to be seeing at all. Check and see if maybe the plug came loose.

well here is an update, check the wires for the maf and all were good. 2 at 5 volts and 2 at battery level 12. just like the manual said. checked n18 and the resistence was fine. then checked the codeds and got more things wrong so just cleared it and gonna drive it and see what happens. i overlooking maybe need a new maf? but i have pierburg, can i get another pierburg? will the gas 2.0 maf work?
