Help with insurance adjustor?

I hit a raccoon the size of a cocker spaniel it did $2500 in damage they totaled the car out. So I bought it back and got new bumper cover splash guard radiator support radiator ac condenser new cooling fans most all the parts came from rock auto and fixed it myself over a weekend for less than $600. The bumper cover I got off car-parts they shipped it to me via greyhound bus and I went and picked it up at the bus stop. Then cost me $135 to get ac charged back up. I bought car back for $345 total and got a $2100 check on my 03 wagen with 275+k on it now I’m pushing 300k

Gee... you know how to make a guy feel bad... I also think the A1s were the best-looking (had two Rabbits, a '79 and an'82), but I really prefer, of the "modern" Jettas, the A4. Hate that chrome smile on the A5s, and the newer ones look too much like Toyotas! (So there!)

I agree—after MkIV (and B5), I’m not so interested in VWs. Didn’t mean to make anyone feel bad; just stating my opinion lol.

And headlights didn't need to be scrubbed with Colgate every 6 months. Progress.

Of course, that's why you get glass lenses from ebay... and hope the Chinese sellers, who lie about their location (and say it's coming from North Dakota or Iowa, when it's coming from China), don't ship you lenses with a giant crack or in 19 different pieces...

Well... a little drive, an hour or so's work, 240 bucks, and I've got most of what I need to pass the brake and light inspection for the rebuilt title. There will be a few more trips involved to get things 100% but we had a productive day today.

Nice. I got to the junkyard about an hour too late. Gonna head back tomorrow so I can bring back home an ALH and 02J (they're having an engine and transmission sale).
And I might have to start a competing thread.... I hydroplanned the Golf. Mine will probably be a total. F**ked up my rear quarterpanel, when the front marker light area of my trailer kissed it as I did a 180.

And guess what got towed away (and a quick police report by the sheriff sergeant) from the SAME THING? A reflex silver mk4 wagon. Oh, the coincidence! I'll have to edit and upload videos.
