Sorry, yes. Not just the headlights. You're referring to the Jetta frontend, right?

Jane Bond?I dislike the whole Jetta front end. Looks like an amphibious craft. Which is fine if you're James Bond, but I'm not.
No one's called me Jane since I got the mustache.Jane Bond?
Just checking for quality assurance purposes.Sorry, yes. Not just the headlights.
I’ll third this……something about it I don’t trust….."HATE the mk4 Jetta headlamps."
I'll second that!
I agree—after MkIV (and B5), I’m not so interested in VWs. Didn’t mean to make anyone feel bad; just stating my opinion lol.Gee... you know how to make a guy feel bad... I also think the A1s were the best-looking (had two Rabbits, a '79 and an'82), but I really prefer, of the "modern" Jettas, the A4. Hate that chrome smile on the A5s, and the newer ones look too much like Toyotas! (So there!)
I don't mind the smile, i just hate that it's brittle plastic and guaranteed to shatter during a 2mph parking bump. Bumpers used to take a bump without breaking. And headlights didn't need to be scrubbed with Colgate every 6 months. Progress.Hate that chrome smile on the A5s,
Of course, that's why you get glass lenses from ebay... and hope the Chinese sellers, who lie about their location (and say it's coming from North Dakota or Iowa, when it's coming from China), don't ship you lenses with a giant crack or in 19 different pieces...And headlights didn't need to be scrubbed with Colgate every 6 months. Progress.
