Help with accessing EGR cooler for repair....

Re: 06 Jetta MK5 1.9 BRM. It has a bad coolant leak after it runs for around 30 minutes. Believe it's at the EGR. Actually at the EGR cooler, I am told that there are coolant lines to the egr cooler. What do I need to remove to access it? My Bentley manual has no illustrations or procedures on this.

Get under the car and look up.... it is most likely the heater hose set... there are two versions, order by VIN.

It’s common for the heater hoses to get weak from having oil drip on them from the valve cover and PCV breather.
