To my tranny experts...

I have a 2005 BWI MK4 Jetta 5 Sp 02J

I replaced the Clutch last year with a Stage 3 Endurance clutch kit from Darkside development.

About a month ago I started to get clutch slippage under load, my car is stock at this time due to a dealership reflash.

It steadily has gotten worse and I quit driving it and pulled the tranny today. I see strange wear on the bell housing and it seams as if I have excess wear on the throwout bearing as well. And I noticed that the Ball pin plastic piece was broken when I pulled the tranmission. Not sure if that occurred while finagling the tranny off or from use.

Not sure whats going on or how any of this could cause slippage.

So, Any ideas?

Thanks

i don't know enough about these trannys so i am taking a shot in the dark with this.... Sometimes if you put an aftermarket clutch in, you have to shim it out off the fly wheel. If you don't, the clutch will drag on the flywheel ever so slightly and cause premature wear.

this is all theory though as i don't know if it is possible on these cars.
