Help on which year Golf to buy

[2010Jetta TDI]

I found two Golf’s both Manual and TDI. One is a 2012 the other a 2015. Price different is about $2000 with both in the NADA average loan value range. Similar mileage with the 2015 having only 6000 more miles. Are their any major differences between the cars like with the suspension, engine/emissions, interior etc. Which one would you buy and why? I owned two jettas in the past and sold both back a few years ago one was a 2010 the other a 2012. Thanks for your help.

Are these wagons? I think there was a change in suspension set up (independent vs. beam) in the rear in 2014 but I'm not 100% sure. I'm sure others will chime in and advise.

I'm sticking with my 2000.

But between the A6 2012 Golf and the A7 2015 Golf, just at face value, I like the A7 better overall but the A6 is a better known quantity and seems to be easier to deal with when things start to go pear-shaped. Or at least, we know more about them.
