Hello all,
I have learned so much just by searching old posts on this forum so I want to thank everyone for the info that’s given by all.
I purchased this car for $850. 260k miles. Leaking coolant into the cylinders. Broken window cables on drivers door, interior smelled terrible of old smoke, speakers all blown, heater core not even hooked up. Ac compressor pulley about to fall off. Leaking oil from the rear main, oil pan, turbo, you name it.

- New GT1749V Turbocharger
- All maintenance done (timing belt, water pump, pulleys, seals, oil pump chain & tensioner) new aluminum oil pan (old was the steel rusty one), fuel filter, rear mains seal, thermostat
- Sent the head out to be machined, cleaned and new valve seals, valves and guides, lifters, installed with a new head gasket.
- pressure washed the intake manifold and deleted EGR
- New ac compressor
- New heater core (what a pain that job was)
- GLI steering wheel
- Pioneer head unit with new door speakers
- Updated shifter linkage with B&M short shifter, all new bushings from diesel geek
- Bosio PP520 nozzles calibrated by Kerma
- Axles seals, and input shaft seals, new G050 fluid
- South bend stage 2 clutch with 22lb flywheel
- 3 bar map sensor
- Newsouth boost and EGT Gauges
- Malone stage 3 tune
- eBay headlights & turn signals
- Solo Werks S1 coil overs with uro tuning top mounts and short hats
Im sure that I forgot some things, I have had subarus 02 Bugeye wrx , 13Wrx hatch, 03 Saab 9-3. I now have a 2015 F150 3.5 eco boost that’s lifted and tuned and it gets horrible gas mileage, that was my reason for this purchase, but here I am a few dollars later. I bought the car on December 1st so all of this was done in just 2 months
