I had a shop recover the headliner in a 99.5. I found this under the seat a week later. Anyone know where it goes ? Thanks.

It's likely sedan specific to help narrow it down. Nothing like this on my wagon.

Sunroof? Looks like it could be a nonsunroof thing between the sunvisors?

No Sunroof. But if I had to guess, it might have been between the two visors. I'm not sure if it will cause rattles if I don't take it back to have them put it back in.

That thing sits on the top side of your headliner board just behind the center lighting bank. Not sure if it makes contact with the roof, but it also "holds down" the wiring that routes around the periphery of the headliner. The wires run within a ribbon-sleeve, and that ribbon is supposed to be hot-glued down in a few spots. You're probably OK w/o it if they somehow stabilized the wiring to the board....I'd be pissed though!

They didn't have the exact fabricate in stock, but used something pretty close in color that appears to be more durable and cleanable.
