My running light work my low beam bulbs are new and work but after 1 minute shut off and I have to run my high beams I want to get it figured out before getting brighter led headlights where running high beams all the time doesn’t work I think it’s a fuse or capacitor but I haven’t seen anyone else have the same problem any help appreciated

When the headlights go off have you tried tapping on the switch? There's a whole heap of separate terminals in them for all the lights. I used to come out and find my number plate and dash lights on.

I’m not sure what you mean tapping the switch but it seems like a capacitor in the nature of when they will work or not as for physically tapping the switch I replaced it for a new one and it acts the same way

I’d try another headlight switch assy , try a salvage yard as they would be pretty cheap.

Ok then you need to get the wiring prints and find the relay that powers the low beam circuit.
Either the power going to the relay is weak or the relay itself is opening up and cutting power , could also be a bad ground.

Relays/switches etc generally either work or they don't... rare for them to regularly cut out after running for a few minutes.

Are these the factory (filament) bulbs or has someone installed aftermarket ballasts and xenon bulbs?

Tapping on the switch with your fingers incase it's a loose connection but I see you've tried another switch anyway.

Hey Vince…..the 109 relay is such a relay that would cut out after working for a while….. just saying.

Not that I ever figured out why, but silly things happen when not-stock-power bulbs get installed. For headlights that is...never had anything but OE style running/turn bulbs put in.

The head light grounds should be near the headlights.
Brown wires.
Check the negative battery connections are all clean on the cable and body and trans (iIrc).
If the body ground is bad then everything that grounds to the body is bad.
