Have 03 TDI throwing code P0182, I've replaced the fuel temp sensor in the injection pump, fairly simple, but the car runs the same and is still throw

Did you clean the fault code after replacing sensor? Check the wire harness and socket leave from the fuel injector pump.

So it's more likely bad wire/connect or Low ambient temperature operation

More than likely a bad wire I would say around the starter area
