It is just a bunch of naphtha. Don't bother. If you really want to add naphtha to your fuel, just throw a bunch of mothballs in the tank.

I thought we want higher Cetane fuel. What benefit were you looking for captainbren?

edit: I just ran across this on this site on another thread.... Naptha: light distillate fraction of petroleum, similar to mineral spirits but one fraction lighter (C5-C12 alkyl chains). Stronger solvent action and faster evaporation. Used in small quantities in fuel additives to keep injectors clean, used in larger quantities in diesel purge (main ingredient) to really clean those injectors. Use with a cetane booster and lubricity enhancer if you intend to use as a diesel purge. Suggest 50% and mainline as an injector cleaner (see diesel purge how to thread). Often used as the solvent that other additives are mixed with to form a packaged mixture. Coleman camp stove fuel is the cheapest and purest source of this that I've found easily. Charcoal lighter fluid or zippo fluid is usually naptha but may also be alcohol mixtures so avoid those unless you're sure.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
this was already done, this was a duplicate thread that was started, boy the other one really got ugly and a lot got deleted as per normal moderation of snake oil arguments.
here is the thread as it rests in its dismal grave now. Hopefully never to see mugh light of day again.

charcoal lighter fluid is mineral spirits
coleman fuel is white gasoline (gasoline with none of the additives for antiknock or oxygenation)
you can buy specifically labelled naptha in the paint isle next to the other solvents, but really unleaded gasoline is pretty much interchangeable for nearly a tenth the cost
just shake in some water to drop the alcohol out of solution if it bothers you, it collects the alcohol and then sits at the bottom

I use gasoline with the alcohol still in it when painting stuff, mainly because proper "vm&p naptha" is more expensive and I'm cheap.
