mine:

put my golf ball shift knob in

hers:

swapped in the new radio RCD510 non navi and hardwired the radar detector

and installed her old euro plate with OE holder. I know some will ask why. This was a dealer trade for us and had the front plate bracket, so this was cheaper than filling holes..

So you were able to attach the VW Euro plate holder using the same holes as the VW US one? If so, that's great - mine came with the front plate holder (it came from MD) and I want to do the same thing.

My plate will be a GB one with "WVO 2M." If you get it, I tip my hat to a fellow nerd. :)

yeah the 2 holes that were hold the holder on I used as the guide.

I drilled to holes into the EU holder and used the plastic rivets to go right in the holes. the plate holder is from my MK6, fits fine though

Then I used 3m double sided tape to hold it on.

and I have no idea what that means :)
