Gtc1549vz with malone stage 2?

Can I put a gtc 1549vz on my bhw with a malone stage 2 tune?

I currently have a stocl turbo on my car and I can't figure out why my car is low on power under 2000rpm, I've tried almost everything. At this point I'm trying to swap out any part that I can to rule it out. I have a gtc1549vz sitting here ready to go. Would it cause any issues if I run it without the $2000 malone custom tune?

it's a tune issue. i recently tuned a car with this turbo for a friend, and it became hard to drive the car without wheelspin (he also asked for a rather agressive throttle map as well). it was making loads of torque starting from 1400rpm and it only had 502 nozzles from transporter and a 10mm pump. i warned him about possible consequences but he said he wants it to go from low down. so totally a tune (or turbo adjustment) issue on your end!

I edited the original post to make it more clear. My car has a stock turbo on it but it feels laggy. Wondering if it would be bad to put a gtc1549vz on without changing the tune(malone is charging $2000 fpr bhw tunes above stage 2 now)

thats an insane amount of $$ for what is essentially a 5min fudge job of a stock tune

do you have ways to take logs and flash the ecu? if not, set yourself up and i'll help with the software side.

Could practically buy another bhw for that price! I'd try to get a refund and have someone else tune it. At minimum they should fix it for you and get it running as well as could be expected for that price.

Hey krook, yes, I can do data logs and I have a power gate 3. What measuring blocks would you want to see?

let's see groups 1 and 11 on a wot pull from 1500rpm all the way to 4000rpm in 4th or 5th. turbo mode helps if you have it. also post your file.
