GTB2056 to stock ALH intercooler

My other half stumbled across a 2001 ALH Jetta that has a few unfinished upgrades. It supposedly has larger nozzles, a Malone stage 1 tune, and a GTB2056 that needs piping. Is there a bolt on kit that utilizes the stock intercooler? I haven’t done a lot of research on the turbo yet to figure out what it would take to adapt it to the stock piping. At $800 it’s going to be a fun beater project.

Just take some measurements, then go to siliconeintakes.com and order what you calculated that you need. Be prepared to be wrong on a piece or two, and/or be prepared to cut some of your brand new silicone couplers. Do you have a 1.8t pancake pipe, or is it the TDI plastic?

I lucked out, at least I think I did so far, there was an all aluminum smic in the trunk with the shipping plugs still in it looks to be new. I did some digging on piping but darkside keeps arguing that I need a front mount and Kerma piping is unavailable. Any other suggestions for off the shelf piping kits?

I'd say that you definitely lucked out if you found an all aluminum SMIC in the trunk that's pretty much brand new.

Unfortunately I can't think of anything that's off the shelf for a piping kit for the new SMIC. You might be able to find an upgraded top or bottom piping kit if you do some searching. If you're lucky enough you could find a full kit out there somewhere.

Here's half of the piping you need and you can always piece together the bottom half.

Then buy the aluminum piping and silicone hose from: https://www.siliconeintakes.com/
to build the lower intercooler piping or to save some money, get everything you would need from them to build the upper and lower intercooler piping.
I'd just suggest buying an aluminum 1.8T pancake pipe to make sure that you have clearance by the passenger front wheel on the inside.
