I've got an opportunity for a gt2256kv turbo from a sprinter. This is the vacuum actuated turbo I thought I heard somewhere that it will bolt up to a BHW manifold? Is that correct? Has anybody else run one of these turbos?

Don't bother, look for something more modern if possible ! I used the gtb2056vk of the 3.0 tdi engine with success, find a good machinist to milk the housings to take this turbos internals and you will have no problem shooting for 250 bhp. The turbine coupled with a 65mm compressor did 300 brakes in a 2.5 v6 tdi I built 10 years ago...
