Thanks.
Thanks.
My better half begs to differ...You can never really have enough parts![]()
My accumulation of "you never know when you'll need it" parts (that I'm sure is well into five-figures at this pointYou can never really have enough parts![]()
it's closed nowClose it down, I can't afford a pole barn. If one of you gets too itchy...maybe I could get something Scottish. If not I'll have to tour the place. Bring back a pump and a turbo in my carry on.
they're too heavy and expensive for me to shipAre you planning a turbo group buy too?
Need turbo pics I'm salivatingthey're too heavy and expensive for me to shipbecause of their weight, the bulk by savings aren't as much either. injectors and pumps work because they fit in the flat rate uspsbox which are pretty cheap.
but my gtd2060vz came, and it is beautiful. came with all the stainless braided lines needed - oil drain, oil feed, the 2 coolant lines, + exhaust manifold gaskets. the exhaust on this thing i huge, 3.5"
there are no import taxes when you order from him on his websiteWe talked about a tune, but I am wondering if I do a personal order thru them will I or have you had to pay import dues/taxes?
The cheaper shipping option is at the very bottom of the shipping location drop down list when you go to your cart. I get this:there are no import taxes when you order from him on his website
If you only order injectors, you can choose the cheaper 20euro (iirc) shipping option. i think pump + injectors will be 40euro shipping.
i didn't get any special on shipping (other than from buying in bulk) - my memory was faulty on the price. 40euro to ship a set of injectors to US/canada, 80euro to ship a set of injectors + pumpThe cheaper shipping option is at the very bottom of the shipping location drop down list when you go to your cart. I get this:
"United States and Canada - only nozzles or injectors Max 2 kg - 40,00 €"
otherwise it is 80,00 €
Maybe @burpod has improved shipping costs because he is a dealer now?? or he didn't recall correctly. This extra option is obvious if you are from the US but it is not obvious for Canadians because they wouldn't normally go to the bottom of the drop down list.

US CBP hit me for an import duty for order value over the $800 personal exemption; I had ordered a turbo and injectors, ~$1100, so it was some % of $1100-$800->$300*NN%=Duty. The duty wasn't a lot, but FedEx paid it on my behalf and then invoiced me for the $$. The customs label from powertdi was filled out accurately, as expected.there are no import taxes when you order from him on his website

yeah, i actually just got a duty tax owed in the mail. i had to fill out some fedex forms online for the shipment, didn't mention anything about duty taxes so i was thinking there wouldn't be any. rats, oh well.US CBP hit me for an import duty for order value over the $800 personal exemption; I had ordered a turbo and injectors, ~$1100, so it was some % of $1100-$800->$300*NN%=Duty. Not sure what CBP's enforcement rate is, but this was my experience.
