Oh I didn't know you were in on this, is the Canada order happening right away too then? @CanadianALHSent my money for the .260s.
As mentioned earlier, if you have the wherewithal to top up the PayPal send to ~$350 (or more), I think that'd be a nice gesture to thank @burpod for his time and effort in putting this together.
Tbh I’m not total sure. I think we have 5 now. So if that is enough to split up the duties and shipping cost between I’m game.Oh I didn't know you were in on this, is the Canada order happening right away too then? @CanadianALH
You can tell the difference without unplugging it. The D shape has a typical plastic lock, the rectangle plug has wire handles that you squeeze to unlock itThanks for the pictures, if it's supposed to be D-shaped, I'll unplug it and take a better look.
i much prefer the older square style with the wire clips. they never break. crappy new d-shaped connectors always breaking... especially when it's cold out and you're having to fix something. fingers freezing as you make swear words and try to unclip a connector and then it breaks.. and now you have a 2nd problem... ugh, dumbYou can tell the difference without unplugging it. No doubt, I have a small jar of tiny zip ties, which are also fun to fumble with freezing fingers.i much prefer the older square style with the wire clips. they never break. crappy new d-shaped connectors always breaking... especially when it's cold out and you're having to fix something. fingers freezing as you make swear words and try to unclip a connector and then it breaks.. and now you have a 2nd problem... ugh, dumb
that grease will most definitely cause poor connections - IF its on the actual terminal itself - seen it happen numerous times, even with log data to prove itNo doubt, I have a small jar of tiny zip ties, which are also fun to fumble with freezing fingers.
Something I always did in the shop because of all the salt and oxidation was to clean connectors and work a little bit of dielectric grease into them. I still do it, they come apart so much easier. It’s a myth that dielectric grease causes bad connections. It may find them though.
years ago when i had put a bunch of dielectric grease on all my terminals (before realizing that's not what its for), i had some quirky electrical issues/codes that popped up over time. once i blew all that crap out with compressed air + brake cleaner, never again had any of those electrical quirks. You would have to prove that to me with more than just a statement
right, it's probably not the best for it, but does a better job of getting the dielectric grease out than contact cleaner, so for a onetime thing, i think is ok….and also don’t use brakleen on plastic
Silicon grease aka dielectric grease is an insulator. You would have to prove that to me with more than just a statement
I realize that. If there’s a loose connection it could definitely cause an issue. I’ve never thought of it causing resistance as long as the connection is tight…but maybe. It’s never caused a problem for me that I’ve ever noticed, I’ve been doing for a long timeSilicon grease aka dielectric grease is an insulator.

Still open, still waiting for powertdi to get them in stock. Hopefully any day now...Am I able to get in for one set of .260s?
I sent you a pm, double checking this is still open before I send money. I’m interested in a set of injectorsso getting ready to pull the trigger sunday evening.. if i have missed anyone on the list, let me know.... and if you didn't let me know what shape connector, please do soi have de-pin tools + extra connectors to swap the correct one on if i dont get the exact right ones in the order.
