Yeah, it was weird. I filled until the machine shut off automatically. Then, pulled the gas/fuel (@kromicacid: Lol) handle a little out of the tank funnel and continued to pump the fuel slowly until I could see the fuel not go down any more. When I got in the car and drove home (about 3 miles away) and reset the trip computer (both) the gauge still said that 1/16 of the tank was empty. So I go home, then to the gym, then to my brother's which is close by and then on my trip back home, THEN the gauge says "absolutely full".

Just throwing this out there. Does the KESSY thing keep the electronic state of the car "alive" while you get out to fuel up? Is it possible that after you walk away from the car it goes into "Standby Mode" and everything syncs and resets? This would explain alot of these "not reading full" messages. My SEL is stillon order so I can't test this theory. In a conventional car you can turn the key to the "Assesory Position" to engage all the cars electronic functions. Whats the equivalent action in a push button start?

Then, pulled the gas handle...
Please do not use the term "Gas" on this board. It causes confusion as there have been too many mis-fuels, which leads to engine failure. I know it is the common term to use 'gas' as a fuel, but diesel is not 'gas'. If you put 'gas' in your car, someone will eventually put Gasoline in your tank, then it will not run any more.

Funny, since my wife started driving the Jetta she mentions stopping for gas. I said do not mention gas and Jetta in same sentence. If you must use a generic term say fuel.
