Got a big job and need a good mechanic

I have many VWs. This one is not a TDI but figured yall might be able to point me in the right direction.

I have a 2016 VW Touareg with the 3.6 VR6. A coolant hose broke and it was driven (not by me) till it wouldn't drive anymore. It needs a new engine and no one is covering it. I live in the New Orleans area and most places I've called won't touch it. I have a spare car so I am not in an emergency rush, but I still want it replaced soon. Does anyone here know of someone who can help? I did not see any "gurus" in Louisiana on the guru list. Thanks

your engine swap is going to be at least a 15 hour job plus parts and fluids
$1,800 for labor
$5,000 for a used engine (if you can find one)
$400 in fluids and misc stuff like seals gaskets, rags ect...
Your telling me your willing to spend at LEAST 7 grand on a car that about worth the same???????
walk away from a bad deal unless your willing to do the work and you can find a used engine for under 3 grand.
Most mechanics wont touch engine swaps with a 10 foot pole unless the engine supplied is though one of the vendors they use and its a NEW engine block and they can swap new parts on to it. if you do get quotes, plan on about $15,000 for the job.... Its about the guarantee...
