So, the Standheizung Heater is a standard option available only in Europe.
It uses a newly designed Telestart unit(reciever for a remote) called the T90. The range of the T90 is 1000 meters, or 3,280 feet. It operates at a frequency close to 800mhz IIRC.
This unit uses the OEM roof antennae and cellular cable connection for the Standheizung/Telestart T90 and your cell phone. This device receives the cellular cable, and then goes out to your cell phone.
If anyone out there with a European Golf V gets this installed, can you please list the programming fuctions of the Remote?
