Golf Plus 2011 - replacing driver's seat (RHD) plastic seat shroud

Hey guys - I have a crack that has developed on the plastic shroud that surrounds the bottom seat on the driver's side. Does anyone know if I need to remove the seat entirely to install this replacement part? Cheers.
