I have a UK spec VW Golf Mk.4 (2003), can anyone help me please with
advice regarding how to prepare my headlamps for driving in France.
I need to somehow block some of the left dipping headlamp beam so
that in France I will not be dazzling oncoming drivers
( note they drive on the right ).:)
Any usefull suggestions please e mail to me dovedalesx@yahoo.co.uk

Don't know how useful it would be (i.e. you'd have to order it), but you could obtain the left side ecode enclosure that is used in the rest of europe, and swap it out.

My Car is a UK spec,, that means the beams dip to the left
( we drive on the left ) any useful information is welcome.

Maybe your lights could be adjusted for driving on the right. A dealer in London or Paris might have delt with this before.

The easiest way is to cut a piece of adhesive film in a triangle shape and place over the headlamp. The idea is to mask the 'triangle' of light that illuminates the area 'away' from the oncoming traffic

headlights adjust left and right 6 degrees with the adjusting screws, its tilted 5 already so if you do it yourself and move them to the other side you will have 1 degree of play left but the beam wont me as straight as it was, they will kinda both point to the middle, it should get ur travels done and make sure you put it back when you come back or you will fail the MOT
