Hi Everyone
I have a fault on my car (P1592 boost pressure sensor correlation error) which it would seem is a common fault.
Reading off the live data:
Target pressure 979mbar
Actual pressure 1051 mbar
Engine is off and ignition on
The fault is static and as you turn the ignition on (engine not running) it brings up this fault and if you start the car, it’s in limp mode. I have cleaned and checked all grounds in the engine bay, replaced the MAP sensor (G31) and still no change. I changed the MAF as well just in case this could also be the cause and still the same. I checked for any water inside the engine wiring loom and it’s bone dry.
Weird thing is, I can start the car up, clear the fault code and the car will drive fine until I switch it off and turn it back on, then the fault is back and car is back in limp mode.
The only thing left that I can think of is to re-wire the boost pressure sensor all the way back to ECU which is a huge headache.
Has anyone got an idea what this could be?
