Golf 4 tdi, map has 1 wire.

Hi folks.

Noticed today my map only has 1 wire (black wire).
Could this be causing my limp mode and boost issues?

I am a relative newcomer to this and not an electrical engineer, but that one black wire to the map (beside dip stick base) looked off to me.

It is an 03 pd130 asz.
Been trying to track down limp mode causes and that is how I found that sensor having only 1 (black) wire.
N75 fine. Vac fine, intercooler and boost pipe (pancake), fine...

Anyone had a single wire map??

I didn't know that your MAP only having one wire was news we all needed to know about.

Not too familiar with the asz engine, but a quick Google search showes it's a very similar map sensor as ours in the ALH, it should be a 4 wire sensor. Got a photo of it?

Black wire at dipstick base is the oil pressure wire, the MAP sensor and its plug are on top of the intercooler, below the RHS headlamp.
