PeterC - glad you got yours back and is in good working order. I wish I could say the same. The turbo/DPF issue is resolved, however I now have a mountain of other issues. The door lock controller, BCM, window switches and regulator in the drivers door have all failed since I got the car back the end of October. To make matters worse, I now have no heat. At the behest of VWoA executive resolution team, I have now switched to another dealer here in Atlanta. They had the car last week and replaced the heater core (now number 4 in the 23 months I've owned the car). Picked it up Saturday and had heat. Had less heat on Sunday and Monday and by Tuesday, no heat at all. It's back at the dealership (again)..........
A TDI guru recently told me that part of the procedure for replacing the heater core is multiple coolant flushes. He believes dealers skip this.
