Started my car this morning to go to work.. Barely started and threw on the check engine light and glow plug light.. No power. Car doesn't really want to go.. Any thoughts?? Thanks 2011 Jetta Tdi of course

Limp mode?.. Did you wait for the GP's to go out before you started the car? Probably gonna have to find VCDS or head to the dealer.

It happen to me last week. Bring to the dealer, they find out water and ice in the intercooler. They perform TSB 21-11-08. Right now car run find. Car is 2012 Jetta Tdi with 6200 miles.

UPDATE: HPFP Failure
HPFP failure at 60K miles.. Fortunately for me VW corp said they will cover all the repairs. They were actually very nice in dealing with them. Im without the car for a week though. Funny thing is the car started feeling like the engine wasnt as smooth vibration wise as when it was new.. That was going on for a few weeks before the failure, but it was still smoother than my 03 Golf TDI.

That CEL (check engine light) is just a kid in class waving her hand trying to get you attention because she has the answer. You need to have the codes read. Some places will read them for FREE. Try Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts. Get the exact code (like P0123) not just their translation into English and post it back here.
