Seriously trying to help, I considered taking a trailer down but after weighing everything changed my mind. Getting things shipped via Banana boat is not too costly.

Ok we are only two weeks away from the GTG and it is time for everyone to step up. Do you want to being food stuff or shall we take up a collection and get it when everyone is here?

I was asked about a TB change and we will not be doing them at the GTG, too much of a chance a car will be left setting needing additional parts and we can not to do at a body shop. He needs all the room he can get.

I do not have an injector pop tester. Turbinewhine usually brings one to my GTGs.

Thanks Dan, we are trying guys lol . I will have several things at the GTG for everyone to look at as I am doing lots of mods and repairs to my NB for my trip to Panama, Central America. If you would like to follow the buildout, go to "Road Trip" thread and check out the "NB buildout for Atl, Ga to Panama Central America". I may be bringing the short block and let everyone have a good look see at the workings of these engines, also the head in the torn down state. Plus several other things that may be of interest. If you have something you would like to see, just let me know. If anyone wants to we can make a side trip to my house and see the NB in its present state of teardown.

Also remember if you have something you would like to sell or trade please bring it as I will have a space set aside just for that.

Not sure if the info has been posted- biodiesel is nearby in Monroe. Would be good time to fill up your jugs as you drive down.

If enough people wanted b100 we could buy a 250g tank. It's rather cheap at just $600.
$2.40 a gallon. They also have 55g drums, unsure about that price.

I will be getting a tune at the gtg.
Down to Earth Energy location-
Just get the correct address. I drove to the address listed on the website via my VW nav and a tomtom nav. Took me to a locked gate on a dirt road. No signs other than "private". I will be driving by again this week to see if there is a better address. Also the phone number listed was not answered.
I emailed them and was advised the address was correct. Rather odd that the place had no signs and had a private drive sign. It looked like I could see the top of a industrial building and tankers but was unable to view the rest.
I just stopped by the location in Atlanta for some b50. 3 2 gallon jugs will last me a few months.

Let me re check that address, it is in Madison and not on a dirt road.
The address is correct, it is not off a dirt road, recheck your Tom Tom.
Use exit 114 off I-20 and go north toward downtown Madison.
Thru the first stop light at Lowes which is on your left.
Go about 1 mile and on the right you will see a liquor store (second liquor store on the right) and right next to it on the right side you will see a car wash, the street just past the car wash is Cox Road. Take it to the right and the shop is the first building on the right about 200 yards.

What time will this GTG start? I'd love to meet up with you guys but I have to be at work at 6pm in augusta. If I can get my tune and nozzles I can leave there at 5:30 and make it to work on time.lol jk

The GTG will start about 9-9:30 AM. So show up anytime around there or whenever you would like.
We can take a trip to the local bio-diesel manufactor if anyone is interested. Rick the owner said we could do that in the afternoon if anyone is interested.

I plan on bringing the power motive brake flush devices. Bring about a liter of proper brake fluid if you want to use it to do a flush.
VCDS of course. Get your car checked out. Especially before a tune.
AC tools, the last I heard we were replacing a Refrigerant Control Valve, the device buried in the Mk IV Sanden AC compressor that controls the load.
Anyone know of anything else? I do not own a pop tester.

Perhaps someone could borrow the pop-tester and pick it up in Asheville if TurbineWhine is so inclined to lend it?
Dan I finished my AC replumbing but suspect the condenser may has sprung a leak again. Do you have a black light to look for the dyed oil?
