No joke. That is an 80+ year old oak tree crashed into my master bedroom, happened Wednesday evening around 7:45. My son was in that room about 20 seconds before that happened.
It was storming, the power had gone out, I was in the process of getting candles and flashlights going (our power goes out a lot) and my wife was checking the weather on her cell phone. She asked me if I heard tornado sirens, and I got up to get a better listen... then suddenly she blurted out "tornado spotted in Union!"
We got our little boy (who just got back home from another hospital stay on Saturday) undone from his feeding tube, and down in the basement. I heard an enormous "CRASH" as I was coming back up the stairs to get my older boy, who had just crawled out of that bedroom. I scooped him up in my arms and ran back down the stairs, he was sitting in the hallway. I thought I heard rain, like a window was open, but I was certain I had just closed them all across the back of the house.
I asked my wife if she had opened a window, she said no, so we waited for it to pass. I went back up stairs, walked down the hallway, and saw lightning coming from the room.
