Fumoto Valve - F106N - Adapter ADP-106

I am considering ordering the above Fumoto Valve to make oil changes easier for my 99 TDI Golf. Does anyone know if my particular TDI needs the Adapter (ADP-106)?? The parts (valve with nipple and adapter) are $31.95 from fumotovalve.com....decent price? Any info appreciated.

Yes you need the adapter, and it's cheaper from greg at lubespecialist.com ... I have had them on 3 vehicles now and they are excellent.
