Could we see a couple pics of the said unit?
show the pics please i have interest in this pumpI'll have pics of the first two that were shipped to me as soon as I get back to ohio on tuesday
That would be more dictated by the injection pump combo and the size/type of fuel lines you had.So what kind of RPM/Boost would you need to run the pump in high speed mode?
I've been told about 30psi is the safe limit for the front seal of our pumps without any issues. Having said that, I also accidentally put 60psi to my injection pump for a moment when I was adjusting the pressure regulator on my car when it was together before. Seal didn't leak or pop out. But, I doubt it would stand that pressure for long.Whats the limit of feed pressure into the injection pump?
I've heard of cummins guys machining for a snap ring to hold in the front seal for high feed pressure but i forget the number. 50psi maybe?
I didn't have time to measure it on Kooya's car due to the time crunch we were on. I can guarantee it's a minimum of 10psi though as the pump would be flowing 90gph at that point. I'll measure it for sure on my and NoJoke's builds. What's the fuel pressure under load at 4500-rpm, like in a 40-80 mph sprint? My observation of the Carters was pressure was good at idle and rev, but quickly dropped to zero psi under real acceleration.
Just got off the phone with a distributor and I was able to work out some special pricing! MSRP is $429 but I was able to work out a 20% discount which is a much easier to stomach price . Delivery time is approximately 2 weeks.
Here's the best I could do with audio right in the cabin.

I wouldn't be surprised if the pump is out flowing the stock pickup in your car Jeremy. Or, it sucked junk off the bottom of the tank and plugged the screen on the pickup. Yank it out and have a looksee! The pump is cavitating at the moment and I will confirm it fails open.
Working it out with fuel labs, and I'll try to get a picture of it installed on the wagon. Matt did a very OEM installation =)
There isn't a group buy Mongler, if you want it, just contact them/or Matt. But you may want to wait to see if the promo 1st piece is any indication of some quirks to figure out.
Did you ever find out what the issue with the pump was? Did this move to another thread that I haven't found yet?. Going to take the pump out today and send it to them to have it checked out.
