I just replaced the timing belt on my 2000 golf tdi ahl. Do I need to have the fuel pump timing checked? I don't have the equipment to do that and want to know if it is necessary after a timing belt change.
Thanks

I agree.Should you, yes. Can you get away with not doing so, also yes. If you're still starting okay and it's cold out, the car runs normally, and you're not seeing excessive smoke, it's probably okay.
might be leaving some fun on the table tooYou won't hurt anything by not dialing it in, but given the cost of diesel these days you may be leaving real money on the table.![]()
I'm a little confused. Timing adjust is part of the timing belt replacement.I just replaced the timing belt on my 2000 golf tdi ahl.
