Hi I am looking for the part number to upgrade my CP4.1 metering valve to the larger type found in some CP 4.2
this will allow me to go over 250 hp without changing to CP3

thanks in advance

I assume a tune is required for max benefit from this, is that correct?

Secondary question... Is there any benefit without tune?

- I've seen/read about this being called a "fuel system saver" under the Exergy brand for what looks like a lot of markup.
- Looks like the same part to me, granted I don't know what I'm looking at.
- Can't really find any first hand reports of it saving anyone but a lot of what enthusiasts do is preventative insurance anyway.

A tune is 100% required for it, they have much different flow rates. Darkside will give you the chart needed when you buy it from them.

Is that required to get a benefit only, or required to run it at all?

Full disclosure... I'm not getting one, this is just curiosity. I see FB (a place I hate) posts about it with people claiming to just install and run it (alleging better high RPM operation), but that a tune is needed for real gains.
