Fuel filter

I recently bought a 2012 Premium Jetta Tdi. There was no records kept by previous owner. Looking on Boraparts it has a one and two hole fuel filter. How do I find out which one I need or can I use either of the two?

Being a 2012, your Jetta should take the later "B" style filter.

Diesel-Filters.com has the Mann PU-936/1-X("X" designates cover O ring included) for $17.87+ shipping. They are the "B" style.

Post a photo of your fuel filter hosing and I'm sure someone will tell you which one you have.
