Fuel Filter Change

I just changed my fuel filter on my 2003 Jetta. How long does it take to get air out of the filter? I used a Mighty Vac to fill the filter pulling a vaccuum until the fuel came into the plastic tubing. Then I put the fuel line back on, released the clamp, and started the engine. I still see air bubbles in the clear tube after the fuel filter and before the engine?

Some air bubbles are normal right after a fuel filter change. I saw one bubble before my change. I saw more after my change, but they eventually cleared up. I now see one bubble again. If you see a lot while your car is running, you may have a bad seal with your "T" o-rings that is letting in air. Chances are everything is ok.
