I just purchased this but my wife insists on having satellite so it's going to go.
It's an 8 inch chinese head unit with built in GPS. It has: AM/FM, SD card, USB, IPOD, DVD, TV, Rear Cam, Bluetooth, and GPS. Its specifically sized for the MKv and has the appropriate plug and play harness. Installing this takes about 5 minutes.
There is a link to view a video of it in action above the first picture.
It has an external microphone as well as one built into the face. I've tested calls using the external mic and they sound great. Stereo bluetooth streaming works well so you can use Pandora or whatever as long as your phone can stream it.
The GPS section runs on Windows CE6 so you can use any compatible software you want. It's "unlocked" so right now it's got a neat little "car" style menu setup. When you hit the GPS button you go into a custom car-like shell (on windows ce) that allows you to access a whole bunch of programs including the GPS software. If you have music/movies on the GPS SD card you can play them using the player on the Windows side.
The Windows side has it's own USB port (separate from the rear usb port for use outside of Windows. For $20 on this site http://www.wincepatch.com/wifi you can buy software that will allow you to plug in a $10 WiFi card and use wireless in Windows. You could have full internet on your car stereo!
I have iGo Primo with current 2011 maps loaded onto the SD card. If you do end up setting up the WiFi card iGo can receive traffic info and use its built in Google search to find people/places/POIs.
All-in-all this device is very cool and having full access to the Windows CE part allows you to do quite a bit of customization. It's similar to those "$300" chiniese units but this one has a lot more going for it. bigger screen, more up-to-date windows ce system, better integration, faster processor.
It also has 2 video outputs, an AUX input, 5 preouts (for an amp), and a rear camera input - all RCA
I'm looking for $500 or a RCD-510 and $125 cash. The unit still has the screen protector on it. It is in new condition.
This is a video of it in operation:
