Bought this a few years ago and within a couple weeks, it went from beeping most of the time to beeping (when reaching target torque) some of the time to....none of the time. So, I sent it off to Snap-on for service (which included re-calibration), which fixed the non-beeping issue - and it's been flawless for me since then.
ATECH2FR100 - 5-100ft.lb. (6.8-135Nm) so it covers most fasteners on our cars. Flexhead so it can be used in many tight-to-fit areas of the car.
And the "A" at the beginning of the model number means it does angle measures. Also capable (I think?) of doing torque+angle. So, say the torque spec is 40Nm+90° - you can set it to buzz/beep at 40Nm, then it starts counting degrees up the 90° where it buzzes/beeps again). I can't guarantee that this is a feature on this model, but I feel like I tried it a few times and it was just a little more cumbersome than I wanted to deal with.
To me, something like this is pretty close to a "must-have", particularly when bolting into the many aluminum parts on our cars. While "gutten-teit" is often "gut-enuf", I'm the type who likes to know that it's done right.
Definitely used, but never abused. And like I said, it's always been a champ for me.
