I have a pair of European Spec HID Replica headlights with Glass Lenses for a 2005 (Mk IV) VW Golf. The lights are blacked out with projector style low beams, projector fogs, city lights, clear turn signal lenses, and standard reflector high beams.
These lights were installed in my car by the previous owner, so I’m not sure who they were made by. I don't think they're DEPO units, because the main access cover has two pull latches securing the cover, while the DEPO only has one. I have no idea how long these lights were on the car. The lights were replaced because the passenger side light might have a broken adjuster, and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of pulling the bumper cover off to remove and replace the lights if I discovered I couldn’t fix the adjuster off the car.
I’ve taken a look at the headlight in question, and can’t seem to find anything wrong with it. I was told that the adjusters on these replica headlights can sometimes “pop” off and can be fixed fairly easily. Of course it may be something else entirely, so just a heads up.
I figure if they can’t be easily fixed, they’re a good source of spare parts for someone who’s looking to do a HID retrofit, or for some other lighting project.
The lights are in good shape with no cracks in the lenses, broken tabs or any other major damage. Aside from being dirty, the only two items of damage are two small chips in the lens of each light. These are very small, and show no signs of cracks or further spreading. I’ve tried to include two pictures of the items in question, showing these marks.
I’m also including the headlight/foglight switch that was installed in the car. The TFL pin on the back of the switch has been bent down to disable the Daytime Running Light feature. It was replaced to install a new head/fog light switch that had a spot for parking lights.
I’d like $125 shipped in CONUS for the headlights and the switch as a set. I would consider a trade for a good condition Mk IV Leather Three Spoke Steering Wheel (Without Audio Controls) and the airbag needed for the wheel
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks
