Up for sale is my modded Alpine KTP-445 45w x 4 channel amp, designed to be a mostly plug-and-play setup for most VW models. I bought the amp roughly a year ago, and modified it with an SOT-976 VW harness with the intention of adding it inline with upgraded speakers.
I found out when looking to install the amp that the SOT-976 harness won't accept the factory accessory plugs (microphone and auxiliary jack) on my 2011 without gluing them in directly or making an extension cable. While I wouldn't have an issue doing either one, if I'm going to be going through the trouble I might as well hard-wire the amp into the system...
Instead of tearing apart what I've done in modifications to the amp to hard wire it to the system, I'm going to offer it up for sale here and pick up a new amp to hard wire instead.
As said above, the amp is MOSTLY plug-and-play... You will need to find a switched 12v source for the amp turn-on signal (blue wire w/ white line in pictures).

For those of you that aren't interested in the back story, start here.
Amp was originally $150 from Crutchfield, but can be found for about $110 online right now. SOT-976 is a bit harder to find in the US than the UK, and is usually around $30 give or take a bit.
The amp has not been used more than a few minutes on a couple of test occasions and is in perfect working order, however it did go through a move from Alaska to Missouri so it has a few scuffs.
Selling the full setup for $110 shipped to anywhere in the US via USPS.
