For sale my 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. Spice Red exterior, Tan interior. Almost 210k miles and still running strong.

The good:
Car started as package 0 and ended up as plain OEM+:
1. E-code HID/xenon headlights with proper levelling and washers
2. E-code LED tails
3. Front and rear fog lights
4. Votex body kit painted satin black plus lip spoiler
5. Dechromed (Sport Edition black grill and GLI black window frames)
6. 18" Vision V wheels for Summer and 18" Detroit wheels for Winter
7. VW Drivers Gear lowering springs
8. Passat 4Motion brakes (same size as in R32 just unpainted)
9. Passat 4Motion rear sway bar
10. Passat light weight front control arms and front hubs, Audi S3/RS3 bushings
11. Euro OEM metal skid plate
12. Euro Auto-dimming power-folding aspherical mirrors with ambient light and position memory for each remote
13. Euro OEM hidden trailer hitch (made for VW by Westfalia)
14. G60 single mass flywheel and VR6 clutch
15. RNS510 Navigation + EOS 600W Dynaudio amplifier and speakers + Tiguan rear view camera + Skoda Bluetooth + MDI
16. Leather heated power seats with position memory for each remote
17. GTI multifunction steering wheel
18. GTI styled multifunction cluster
19. Rain and light sensor
20. 2-zone Climatronic with mk6 controls
21. HomeLink visor
22. Euro interior ultrasound monitoring plus tow away alarm with a deactivation switch
23. Inverter 115V
24. Footwell lights front and rear
25. Rear window sun blind
Almost all electrical upgrades were done using OEM wiring from a donor GLI or package 2.

The bad:
As far as I know car needs NOTHING. It starts, drives, turns and brakes as expected. AC is ice cold. The parts that were replaced along the way:
1. Headliner (2013)
2. Engine wiring harness (2018)
3. Door harnesses (front 2018, rear 2020)
4. All four wheel bearings (front 2016, rear 2020)
5. Front suspension bushings (2016)
6. All window switches upgraded to metal ones (2020)
7. Turbo charger vane actuator (2017)
8. Intake manifold flap (2012)
9. Camshaft with cam followers (2014)
10. Aux heater repair (2019)
11. Left axle (2020)
I just replaced timing belt and v-belt and inspected cam shaft again just to be safe. The car took us to the West Coast and back in 2008 and I would not hesitate to take this trip again.

The ugly:
Well, it is a 15 year old car, so there are few things that are ugly:
1. Wheels are beaten. They are straight and keep the air, but they are pretty curb rashed.
2. Clear coat is peeling of the mirror caps
3. Headlight washer covers paint is chiping
4. There are few rust spots
5. There are few more dents and scratches around
6. It would benefit from good cleaning

I really don't want to sell it, but I have way too many cars on my driveway and now that my company switched to fully remote work I cannot even justify to keep it for commute. I am the first owner, I still have the manual and all 3 keys. The car was chipped by Jeff@RocketChip back in 2007 and dyno'ed at 155/255. I never had any issue with the engine or clutch other than it just begs for 6-speed swap (I was planning 4Motion retrofit). More info about the car at https://furmanka.blogspot.com/

That's a nice car, mine is similar. I'm sure that you have spent countless hours performing the upgrades and maintenance . Good luck with your sale.

Got some more pictures of the rust? Do you have a detailed parts list for a potential buyer just in case something breaks, they know what to replace it with? If my car sells soon I might just have to fly out to VA 😁

I replied to your PM. I will post some pics here as well. If you need to replace anything you can still source parts at VW (all upgrades are OEM), either here in the US or ebay in Europe. I recently bough some Euro parts for my Touareg from Latvia via ebay. If you need a part number, let me know and we can make a list of everything. The only thing I can think of that is critical for you to know are front brake caliper bolts: for Passat alloy hubs you need longer bolts from Passat B6. I usually replace them with new ones when I change rotors.

Wow. Hate to see you sell that car. I enjoyed following your build progress.
I hate to see it gone too, because it was fun retrofitting all the goodies and I was still hoping to complete 4MOTION swap, but I have other AWD TDIs to take care of right now.

Car is sold.
