FS: 2006 Mercedes E320 CDI, Boston, MA area *SOLD*
Up for sale is my 2006 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI Flint Gray with Gray MBTex interior. This car has the inline 6 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 5 speed automatic. This is the last year that the E class diesel came with an inline 6, the next year featured a V6 and then an inline 4. Timing is by chain. The exhaust treatment is a particulate filter. No AdBlue fluid is needed.
I purchased the car in October of 2010 with 65k miles, it currently has over 117k miles on it. I have full maintenance history for the car’s time with me. Oil changes have been performed ~5k miles. This year repairs have included new hi and low pressure fuel pumps, front struts (were sagging throwing off alignment), rear springs (had cracked) and SBC pump (warranty). Carfax is available as a pdf file.
My lifetime average mpg in this car has been 31 mpg. Although it has been going down with my new stop and go morning commute. Not TDI territory but great for the power that you get. The OEM engine produces 201 hp and 369 lb-ft torque. This engine has been chipped with RocketChip Stage 2.
I really do love this car but with my growing family (I’m 6’4” and can’t drive with a child seat behind me) space has become an issue. An opportunity came up to get into an 2013 Mercedes S350 and I took it, hence the sale of this car.
Special factory options on this car include:
-*NO* sunroof for extra headroom. If you’re tall or like to wear hats this is a super bonus.
-Split folding rear seats.
-Bi-Xenon headlights with washers and Active Curve Light
-Parktronic front and rear sensor system
-Walnut Wood trim
-Heated 3 Position Memory power front seats
Comes with 2 sets of wheels:
-Stock 16 inch size with Nokian R2 Snow Tires with 5k miles total, currently on vehicle
-Set of Mercedes 17 inch wheels with Nokian zLine Summer tires with 7,260 miles on them.
Other equipment includes:
-Dension Gateway 500 allows integration of additional input sources to the stereo such as USB (in center console ashtray area), iPod (in glovebox) and auxiliary right/left audio inputs (in center console hidden tray). Still has factory auxiliary input.

There are no mechanical problems with the car. Everything works and it’s a lot of fun to drive. I had it detailed inside and out. If I were to be picky (and I am) 2 bothersome interior issues are:
-the steering wheel leather and dye has worn and faded at the top
-the B-pillar trim is torn from front seat entry/exit, driver’s side is worse.
The car was in one low speed accident where I rear ended another car in stop and go traffic. All damaged parts were replaced. I no longer drive after dental surgery.
Looking for $9,900 or best offer. And I will consider all offers. Hoping to find a good home for my baby with someone who will appreciate all she has to offer.
