Certified Volkswagen Nut & Vendor
Customer wants to part ways with her 2003 Jetta, she bought it new. 282k miles, the water pump has started leaking before it was due for replacement at 300k. Runs and drives fine, just leaking (I would not want to drive it very far, and I can certainly do the work if someone wants).
$1500 as it sits. I've serviced it since it was out of warranty, extensive records on it, she always took good care of it, never in any crashes. Non-smoker, she does have a pet but it doesn't smell (I would know!).
It is a GLS w/ lux, cloth seats, heated seats, does NOT have ESP. I think most of the door latches are bad in some way or another, that was something she never was concerned with.
I've redone the suspension once (Bilstein), a clutch, brakes, tires are about 50%, battery is not very old, DFIS rebuilt the pump already, cheap headlight replacements. Has a boost gauge but is otherwise stock.
Does have some fender rust, a small dent ahead of the RR wheel arch, some scratches, etc.
It isn't a creampuff, but it is mechanically sound and well cared for (aside from the water pump leak).
