All--
I am selling my black 2003 Golf GLS ALH with 178k. It is a 5 speed transmission with alloy wheels, arm rest, sunroof. Primary reason for selling is that I wasn't able to find the oil leak and need to move on. I bought an 08 A3 manual transmission gasser. Perhaps I'll get a TDI again one of these days. $3000.
Good:
-Drives well
-Smoked tail lights
-R32 shifter with leather boot
-DRL disabled, Euro switch
-Rocketchip tune (Stage II)
-TB good for another ~20k
-New brakes and rotors
-Heated seat dials but no heated seats. (I pulled the dials from a junk yard with the intension of switching out)
Need of TLC:
-Oil leak from the turbo (?)
-Ocassional CEL; turbo limp mode
-Trunk doesn’t stay open when cold (one hydraulic may be too weak)
-Hood release plastic pull is gone but hood opens fine from metal latch
-Right door switch doesn’t work for dome light
-Headline is drooping
-Left metal fender replaced because of rusting but, paint doesn't match.
-Bottom rockers by front wheels rusted, bolded on sheet metal
-Two tires slow air leak
-E-brake hangs if pulled up
-ABS sensor ring back right wheel rubbing (new ABS ring included)
-Fogged headlights
-AC does not work (extra clutch magnet and pully included)
-Driver mirror housing cracked.
