180,000 miles
Automatic transmission (rebuilt at 165k miles)
Tan Leather interior
Single DIN Cassette (cassette player no worky, radio is fine.)
~4000 miles on Nokian WRG2 tires.
PP520 Nozzles from Kerma
Clean title. I bought this car new in Dec of 2000. I've got the window sticker somewhere, maybe I'll post a pic.

The good:
~48 mpg at 55 mph on my way to work every day.
~42 mpg on the interstate (75 - 80 mph)
Timing belts at 65k, 105k. Needs another at 205k. Belts installed by The Lube Specialist. Parts from Dieselgeek.
Car uses about .5L of oil over 10,000 miles.
TDI Heater installed.
Dieselgeek Panzer plate installed.
CAT Fuel filter head installed (currently with Fleetguard filter. I'm a company man, what can I say?)
Black non-Hella Ecodes. Fog bulbs installed, but not wired. Installed at Xmas 2007 to replace hazy OEMS.
Euroswitch
Monster Mats included.
Euro cluster installed. (center screen is wonky, lots of lines missing. comes with original cluster, but odo will be wrong by about 100k miles!)
Comes with Bentley manual
Comes with 2 air filters. ("A" type with foam cover)

The bad:
Head replaced at 65k miles. Original dropped a lifter. Replaced by the Lube Specialist. Been running great ever since.
Several rock chips on the hood.
A few door dings each side.
Some curbage on the wheels.
One center cap missing its VW logo.
Glovebox door handle broken. (you can still open it with some deft finger movements.)
2 of the rear headrests are in storage. I'm moving to the new house in about a month. I'll have to send them to you!

The Ugly:
No ugly. It's been a good car. I would absolutely keep this car if I was still driving 90 miles a day, and if they'd have given me a better trade on the truck! :^)

$7200 or best offer. PM or email rvandewa at gmail for questions or offers.

Here's some pics.
I'll post some of the interior once I get it cleaned out.
If you want to see anything particular, let me know and I'll take a pic and post it.

80-some views but no interest?

Does anyone have any feedback? price too high? not enough pictures? Help a brother out, this is the first car I've ever sold.

:^)

The price is fair, car looks great. Maybe add some engine bay and interior shots?

I think the transmission is what is scaring folks...

I sure would like to know how you get 42 on the highway driving 75-80. I have the same car and can barely get 36 at that speed.

It's a secret. buy my car and I'll tell you! :^)

but tires and driving style are probably the biggest factors. I'll run over someone before I come off cruise control. And I try really, really hard to only stop every 3 hours or so on the interstate.

My best interstate mileage was about 53 mpg. Of course that was at 55mph for 3 hours straight.
