I have a 2000 Silver Jetta TDI that I am selling. I am located in Manchester, New Hampshire.
I have maintained the car to last a long time. I am the second owner and I have changed the oil with Mobil Delvac synthetic every 10,000 miles. The car was used as my primary commuter car to work every day 44 miles each way. It has 221,000 miles on it.
I have a stage 2 chip installed by Jeff for Rocket chip. New clutch VR6 just done and installed clutch by Jolly Green Giant 3000 miles ago. Jolly Green Giant changes the transmission fluid at the same time and replaced rear wheel bearings. 100,000 mile timing belt was done by Herm at 170,000 miles as well the intake was cleaned. If anyone is familiar with Herm he is meticulous with his work. He replaced the water pump and rollers and all new bolts. I just replaced the battery over the winter. It has a block heater installed.
It has a few parking lot dings and a scuff on the driver’s door. I am the type of person to park it in the south forty at Wal-Mart so I don’t get dings, but they do happen. Passenger side fender was replaced by VW a few months ago under 10 year corrosion warranty. I can’t see any other rust on the car. I am picky and the car was washed and waxed each week. Like I said I was maintaining this car to last a long time and only quality parts were purchased. I changed my own oil and filter, but anything else was done at Jolly Green Giant’s, Herms or Reflex tuning or at Peter’s house of 5 garages. Reflex tuning recently cleaned the turbo and changed some parts N75, Actuator and vacuum lines. The car runs just fine. No oil leaks. I put in a 6 CD changer and it works fine. The AC blows cold, cruise control works.
What is not perfect: The glove box hinge is broken. The door opens and closes but you have to go gentle. It is on my to do list, but I work 50 hours a week as well as going to grad school so I haven’t fixed it yet. The moon roof stopped retracting one day, so it is currently in the closed position and needs some sort of repair.
I will include a gallon of power service, 4 snow tires, 4 wheels, and a Bentley manual, cabin air filter and my registered Vag Com cable. I would like $5,000.00 as the VR6 clutch is brand new and I am including all of the above. I have pictures and will see if I can upload them or I can e-mail them to anyone on request. I have a digital camera and can get anything specific “most Ricky tic”.
