1996 Passat. Runs fine.Has a chip that claims 110 hp {Neuspeed} About 30k on timing belt. AC and heat work good. Tires at least 75 percent with 21 date. Bad stuff; 29 year old New England car with 423k miles.Typical rust/minor dents. Passenger window and parking brake don't work. Interior has transported dogs and rear cushion is destroyed and headrest chewed up. 
I have owned this for 19 years but it hasn't been driven for 18 months. I started it today {1st time this year} and drove around the block and everything seems OK... Please don't expect a showpiece,but drive it home for $750
