FS: 15" Avus rims with Geolandar A/T tires and good tread – Seattle – $400 OBO

Complete set of (4) mounted, balanced tires. There are about 10,000 miles on this setup and they drove great.

RIMS – 5x100 "Avus", stock on Mk4 Volkswagens around 1990-2001. Should fit all Mk4's just fine.

TIRES – Yokohama Geolandar G015 in size 205/70R15. 9/32" of tread depth remain so they are at 75%. I was running these on a 2000 Golf TDI with a very mild lift of about 20mm. Had decent offroad clearance and these tires were *excellent* in the snow.

I used these as snow tires for runs out to eastern WA and was able to keep up with any AWD vehicle. Good stopping even with 1" of powder on top of compact snow/ice. I now have a true SUV so I am ready to pass these on. Pick up or delivery in the Seattle/Kent area. Offers welcome.

Not sure about the date code – there were several mysterious numbers on there. BUT I have a receipt for purchase from TireRack on 12/27/2019 if that helps at all. Send me a PM if you'd like to meet up!

Tire size - 205/70R15 on a Golf?

Is anybody running a 205/70R15 on a Golf with stock ride height? I saw a thread where multiple members said this tire fit w/out rubbing on a Wagon. I think they should fit the Golf but want input before I get the tires. TIA
