I wonder why some cars have the oval holes and some don't. Per her VIN, Lili is a 1997 so not an early model.

What do you use to get the outer tie rod end loose from the knuckle? I've got a pickle fork but the opening isn't wide enough. Same with my 'tie rod end remover'. There's not enough of a gap to get my tools in there.
Hmmmm... I stopped receiving email notifications, from this site...

I use either a 2 lb sledgehammer and whack the tie rod eye, or I use a ball joint separator. I stopped using pickle forks years ago... boot wreckers.
