Front tyre wear

I have noticed that although my tracking is spot on and wear is generally very even, that I get wear on the very inside of the right hand tyre (facing forward). It may be happening slightly on the left side too.

Is this a known wear point for these cars or may there be a specific reason for this happening on mine?

Yes, it seems to be a known thing with these. I think it is because of excessive toe-out and regular alignment shops not knowing or taking proper time to align it right. There are a lot of threads about this.

I did the camber and tracking myself and I believe it is correct. The tread depth is a uniform 4mm over most of the tread on all the tires with no feathering. This wear on the very inside of the front right wheel is like a small angular patch over about an inch.

My theory is that this is something to do with acceleration forces transfered through the tire, but the differential should make it equal on both sides, maybe..
