Located in central s/central Wisconsin. Full set Bilsteins HD's have OEM 03 GLS Jetta Sedan springs also. Replaced my stock shocks and struts at 65,000 with the Bilsteins and had them in my car till 225,000 then replaced them with Koni FSD's and Eibach's

So the struts have 160,000 on them and the OEM springs have 225,000 on them

I took them out because one of the front struts is bad and since the springs are still installed on I don't have any way of telling which front is bad and which front is good.

All 4 OEM springs are intact, unsure how much they have weakened or sacked out over the 225,000 miles but they are intact and appear usable.

Free to a good home, stop by and pick them up or I will consider shipping but your paying the shipping and handling costs. I will keep this thread around for 2 weeks after that there getting 86'd !
Thanks

Easy way to tell is check for noching or feathering on your tires tread. if you run your fingers over them. you wil notice one side feels raised. on the outer tread pattern. hope that helps.

100% correct, my driver front tire had irregular wear. But I put new tires on when I did the struts.............almost 3.5months/11,000 miles ago.
Tires are long gone, I might be able to figure out what strut was mounted on what side based on paint wear and the brake line support mounts. But if the potential owner wants the front springs he is still gonna have to take both struts cause there still mounted together.

Do the bilsteins not have a life time warranty? I thought the Konis and Bilsteins both did.
I'm pretty sure they both do also, but I can't have my car up on jack stands while I wait for them to warranty or credit me and I from what I have read about ppl who have tried to get warranty claim from Bilstein, you gotta have original receipt AND original boxes they came in.

Free bump for one heck of a good deal. FWIW, I had to warranty one of my rear HD's about six months ago. I did not have the receipt or the box. I contacted Zygmunt as I purchased from them during a group buy several years ago. They said no problem! They even agreed to let me pay for a new shock and they shipped it out. I, too could not afford down time for my car. I did the swap and sent the old shock back for a full refund. I guess it matters who you buy from. Still, 3 good HD's and springs for free is a screaming good deal.
