I have had them sitting in the garage since I swapped to leather seats. They're in good condition. No rips and clean. The only caveat is that I had to snip the airbag clips off to use on the new seats (they didn't match).

Come pick them up in northern DE this weekend or I'm putting them in the dumpster on Monday. First to PM gets them.

I also am swapping seats in my car NB '98. I got '02 turbo s seats to put in.

When modifying the airbag harness did you just match up the wire colors when you snipped them both? Are they consistent between the two connectors?

I may take the back seat off you hands, I live in the Philly area, not too far. My GF has a 2dr golf with a really dirty Grey back seat (we bought it that way.)

Thanks.

Yup, that's what I did. Just used butt connectors and made sure it was real tight and taped over them. Worked fine. Let me know if you want any of it by Monday.

I would solder the connetions and use shrink tubing to seal them up myself.

Its easy to change the connectors over so you don't have to cut and splice. You just need to release the terminal clip with a terminal release tool or very small flatheated screwdriver or dental pick tool

I would not be able to get anything this weekend and during the week is pretty much a not an option. I would hate to say I would come to pick them up soon to only find myself not. If you can hold until next weekend I will try next weekend, but if your in a rush to clear clutter do not wait up for me.

I may have someone coming to get them. If it falls through I might be able to convince the boss that they can hang around another week.

What is the proper way to dispose of the fronts, with the airbags in them? I have a full set of grey cloth seats with headrests from my beetle. They are not ripped or anything, but they fronts are in need of a cleaning. They are in my way and I want the garage space back before it gets cold.

Post them up here for free? Not sure of the proper way. I was going to just throw them in a truck and haul them to a dumpster.

Someone came to get these today. They're now gone. Sorry chopshop.
