Saw over on vortex lots of people have gotten emails stating XM/Sirius is free for 2 weeks (as of 24 May it looks like). I didnt get any email, but the next time in the car I hit the sat button to see if it works since my trial is up and I dont subscribe. It's working, so must be an automatic thing. Check it out next time you are in the car!

I confirm. It is working on my vehicle as well.

2 weeks is not bad at all :)

Yeah, I got the letter on the 25th telling me I had a two week free subscription on the RCD-510 that came with our 2010 Jetta. That RCD-510 had Sirius ESN 032250685910 as stated on the Sirius letter.

Trouble is that I sold that RCD-510 after I installed an RNS-510 (at which time I got three months free Sirius). So the buyer of the RCD-510 got the two free weeks, and I got zip.

:(

And yes, I did tell Sirius that I sold the radio....four times. They did add the new radio to my account, but would never remove the old radio. Eventually they removed both radios from the account (when I look on-line). Apparently their bookkeeping is screwy because they still associate the old radio with my car.

It's not just their book keeping. I've told those darned fools 100,000 times to take me off mailing lists, call lists and anything else they can think of that might be associated. You'd think they'd catch on after a while?

I'm personally waiting for Sirius to start paying me to listen. Every offer they come up with is lower and lower cost, yet still I don't renew.

Well said. All it took was the free trial to convince me that paying for low-quality audio and very unsophisticated traffic and weather info was never going to happen.

If only I could bill them for disposal of the reams of junk mail they still send me trying to lure me back.

Free trial doesn't work on mine. Just says "Unsubscribed". XM is working in my GMC though, but with limited channel choices. Too bad.

Mine says "Unsubscribed" and a number to call to activate but it is still working.
